Voting Rights Victory in European Union

The International Foundation for Election Systems has announced that the European Parliament unanimously adopted a resolution on basic human rights in the European Union that includes a call to member states to ensure voting rights for people with disabilities.
The voting rights section was introduced by European Parliament member Mme. Joke Sweibel of the Netherlands. The European Disability Forum assisted.
