Update on UN Disability Convention Process & Products

The report of the UN working group that met in January 2004 to compile various drafts into an integrated text is available in UN languages. This text will be the main document for the Third UN Ad Hoc meeting on the convention, 24 May - 4 June in New York

For the Third Ad Hoc meeting, a small UN fund has been established to support accredited NGO participation by disability groups and experts from the least developed nations. The deadline for application is April 19. For information on accreditation and funding, visit the UN website.
