Indigenous Sign Language Book for Colombian Deaf Children

Colombian deaf children are learning Colombian Sign Language through educational materials provided by the "Libros de Lengua de Señas para Niños Sordos" ( Sign Language Book for Deaf Children). The Japanese Embassy and the Colombian National Federation of the Deaf are collaborating to provide the children from several regions in the country with 1100 educational packets. Children from the Quindó, Chocó, Caquetó, Guajira, Arauca, Casanare, Putumayo, San Andrés, Guaviare, Amazonas and Vichada departments will benefit from them.
