Academic Professional Position Available


Research Coordinator(s)

Description: The College of Applied Life Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is seeking one or more qualified individuals to fill twelve-month full-time academic professional positions as Research Coordinators.

Responsibilities:
  • Actively participate in the day-to-day operational activities of the Disability Research Institute with special attention paid to funded project status and progress;
  • Serve as a liaison between the Disability Research Institute and the collaborating institutions and researchers;
  • Develop research proposals and procedures for various Disability Research Institute projects;
  • Develop study protocols for database design, sampling, and data analysis;
  • Construct and maintain DRI research and reference databases;
  • Participate in responding to SSA quick-response requests for information; and
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Starting Date: August 1, 2003

Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications

Qualifications: Ph.D. in field related to disability
