Lex Frieden Takes Oath in Oval Office with President Bush
In the Oval Office at the White House, Lex Frieden was sworn in as the Chair of the National Council on Disability (NCD) with President Bush at his side. The NCD is an independent federal agency with responsibility for advising the President on disability policy. Its members are all Presidential appointees. Also pictured are Lex's wife, Joyce, a disability advocate, their grandson Trey, an avid reader and sports enthusiast, and Max Brodie, Lex's longtime personal assistant.
