International Disability Film Festival in Munich Invites Entries by August 1, 2001
"The Way We Live" is the theme of the Third International Short Film Festival organized by the German Society for Disability and the Media. The Festival will take place November 15-18, 2001 at the Munich Film Museum.
The deadline for entries is August 1 and the festival director, Karl Heinz Gruber, has announced they have already received 60 films. Entries must have been produced after January 1,1997 and should depict the life of disabled persons in contemporary society. The following prize will be awarded by an international jury: 1st-10,000DM; 2nd-5000DM; and 3rd-2000DM. In addition, audience favorites will be voted on site. The festival will also feature retrospectives and showings of series on selected topics.
