Call for Entries: Superfest 2003
A call has been issued for entries to Superfest XXIII, the Berkeley-based international disability film festival, organized annually by the Corporation on Disabilities and Telecommunications. January 31, 2003 is the deadline for postmarking entries about disability or by media makers with a disability. "Earlybird" entries postmarked by January 15 will earn a discount on the entry fee.

Films and videos completed since December 1, 1997 are eligible for judging. Required format is VHS-NTSC, which must be submitted with a completed entry and release forms. Entry fees range from US$20 to $90. Winners will be screened in the San Francisco Bay area in early summer 2003, dates to be announced.

Call for Nominations for Scholarships in the Visual Arts
Artists with disabilities who are over 21 and can demonstrate an artistic vision existing for at least five years, are eligible to apply to VSArts for support. Artists selected will be among those available for participation in the VSA International Arts Festival taking place in Washington, DC in 2004.
