World Bank Support of Disabled-Owned Businesses

I am proud to inform you about an exciting program launched by the World Bank that will facilitate business enterprises owned, operated and controlled by disabled people to have access to the procurement opportunities of the five international organizations composing the World Bank Group.

The program is managed by the World Bank Group Corporate Procurement Unit, which is committed to increasing business participation of Disabled Owned Business Enterprises by direct contracting, and by working with Bank Group's prime contractors to help them expand their subcontracting of Bank Group related business. Procurement practices provide opportunities for access and growth of disabled owned business enterprises through their Minority, Women and Disabled Owned Business Enterprise (MWDBE's).

Please visit https://info.worldbank.org/vendorkiosk/ to find out more about the Corporate Procurement Unit Supplier Diversity Program.

In order to assure the success of this program, we are enlisting your help in raising awareness about the opportunities it affords disabled owned businesses. Please spread this information within your network, and encourage disabled owned businesses to submit their company profiles.

Thank you very much for your collaboration
