Greek Government Drafts Anti-Discrimination Law for Minorities
In order to bring its laws in line with the European Union, the Greek Government is planning legislation to banish discrimination in the workplace and in its social security system on the grounds of race, gender, religion, disability or nationality. The blueprint, comprised of five chapters and 25 articles has been prepared by a drafting committee under the guidance of the vice president of the Council of State, Greece's highest administrative court.
