Swaziland: FODSWA Announces New Executive Committee
Please be informed that the Federation of Organisations of the Disabled in Swaziland had its elections on the 11 September 2004 in Manzini.
The names of the new members are as follows:
Mr. Musa Makhanya - President- Blind
Ms. Zethu Masuku - Vice President- Deaf
Mr. Bhekie Jele - Secretary General - Physically Disabled
Mrs Grace Bhembe - Vice Secretary General - Parent
Mr. Dumisani Khumalo - Treasurer - Physically Disabled
Mr. Sozabile Simelane - Member - Blind
Ms. Siphiwe Maziya - Member - Deaf
Ms. Ntombie Fakudze - Women's Representative
One of the major achievements scored from the above executive is that it is gender balanced. (50/50)
