International News: Events and Announcements

Mobility International USA and the National Clearinghouse on Disability and Exchange announce:

Internships in International Exchange Initiative

During spring 2000, the National Clearinghouse on Disability and Exchange (NCDE) will launch our Internships in International Exchange Initiative, a project to increase the diversity of people represented in the field of international programs. The Internships Initiative will facilitate the participation of people with disabilities in internships with international exchange organizations in the United States and abroad by linking potential interns with organizations seeking interns.

Internships are a great way to gain employment experience.  For those interested in international careers, an internship with an international exchange organization can provide a vital source of professional experience in the international field. NCDE encourages people with disabilities who are interested in international careers to contact us to find out about the many exciting internship opportunities available in the following fields:

Education Abroad
International Community Service
Intercultural Communication
Program Administration and Policy
International Affairs
