Improving Access to the Arts for the Visually Impaired

The public authority of Lanzarote and ONCE (the Spanish organization for blind people) are developing a cooperation agreement aimed at improving access for blind and visually impaired people to the cultural activities taking place on the island. The first action under the agreement will involve improving access to the International Museum of Modern Art via the production of special material and training for museum guides. The project leaders would like to find partners in other European countries for future collaboration under Culture 2000.
