Berkeley Lectures on Disability Studies
October-November 2000

The University of California at Berkeley has announced a lectures series on "Disability Studies in the Humanities," being held October 10 - November 13.

Lectures include: "Mobility Disability," Celeste Langan, October 10; "Seeing the Disabled: Visual Rhetoric of Disability in Popular Photography," Rosemary Garland Thomson, October 24; Bancroft all-day symposium, November 3; "Josephine Miles and the Voice of Reason," Susan Schweik, November 7; "What Can Disability Studies Learn from the Culture Wars?" Tobin Siebers, November 13.
