The Interamerican Development
Bank is translating AEI's guide, "Mobility for All: Accessible Transportation
Around the World", into Portuguese for use in Brazil and other Portuguese-speaking
countries. The guide will appear as the second of two parts of a larger
publication titled "Overcoming Limitations: Making Transport Easier
for Everyone" ("Superando Limitacoes: Facilitando o Transporte para Todos"),
coordinated by Dr. Charles L. Wright, a Senior Economist with the Bank.
The first part of the guide contains an introduction by Veronica Comisao
and a case study of the city of Franca by Renato Boareto, both of Brazil,
and other chapters by Charles Wright (USA), C.G.B. Mitchell (UK) and Trevor
Smith (Canada), and Tom Rickert of AEI.
