European Guidelines for Managers on Workplace Accessibility

The European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working conditions has published a CD ROM guide to the integration of disabled people into industrial workplaces. This CD-ROM draws together, in an accessible and searchable format, the enormous volume of information and many guidelines which govern the subject throughout Europe.

Pascal Paoli, research manager with responsibility for the project, says the guide is particularly aimed at senior management in industry as well as policy makers because it identifies the changes required to make a workplace accessible in terms of design and management from a business perspective. It also suggests policy initiatives, strategic plans and operational frameworks to improve the current situation."
