U.S National Science Foundation Reports:The 1998 report of the National Science Foundation on "Women, Minorities & Persons with Disabilities" is now being updated and the year 2000 version will be available shortly. Virtual Working Groups on Beijing+5:The United Nations is organizing a major event to review progress since its 1995 World Conference on Women, held in Beijing. A special session of the UN Assembly will take place in June and planning meetings for that event will be organized by the UN Commission on the Status of Women in March. Spinal Cord Injury Fax Network:Fact sheets on "Pregnancy & Women with SCI" are available from a new SCI Fax Information Network operated by the University of Alabama's Rehabilitation Research & Training Center on Secondary Conditions of Spinal Cord Injury.
