  • Mental Disability Advocacy Center - The Mental Disability Advocacy Center (MDAC) is an international organization that promotes and protects human rights of people with mental health problems and/or intellectual disabilities (hereafter people with mental disability) in twenty-eight countries of central and eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union, and Mongolia. The goal of MDAC is to improve the quality of life for individuals by advocating public policies that respect human rights and promote community integration.
  • Mind Freedom - The site of U.S. based Support Coalition International, an advocacy group for "human rights of people in the psychiatric system," composed of 100 grassroots organizations in 14 countries.
  • Not Dead Yet - Founded in 1996 to alert disability community and public that Jack Kevorkian was mainly assisting the suicides of disabled women with non-terminal conditions; now taking actions in over 30 states in opposition to the suicide-euthanasia movement.
  • PBS On a Roll - From his state-of-the art radio studio in his parents' Mississippi home, Greg Smith—who dubs himself “the wheelchair dude with attitude”—offers advice, encouragement and inspiration on his popular nationally syndicated radio program, reaching out to not just the millions of Americans living with disabilities, but to all Americans.
  • Physical Disability Council of Australia (PDCA) - "The PDCA's mission is that by 2010 the needs of people with a physical disability will be met in all Commonwealth Government legislation, policies, services and programs and in all areas of the private sector and the community of Australia, enabling full participation."
  • Respect the Disabled - "Respect the Disabled" is a grassroots, non-profit, public service campaign dedicated to promoting respect for the disabled in the community. We invite everyone, both disabled and non-disabled, to help us in this cause.
  • Rights for All - New site to promote an international campaign to achieve a UN disability convention, hosted by Landmine Survivors Network.
  • Sociedad y Discapacidad - Reproduce la legislación peruana sobre discapacidad y contenidos informativos y de promoción de los derechos humanos de las personas con discapacidad.
  • StopPity.org - Protesting telethons and their use of pity of disabled people to raise funds.
  • United Cerebral Palsy - United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) is the leading source of information on cerebral palsy and is a pivotal advocate for the rights of persons with any disability.
