  • Disabled People South Africa (DPSA) - "Disabled People South Africa (DPSA) has as it's motto "Nothing About Us Without Us" in recognition of the need for disabled people to directly promote the human rights and development of all South Africans with disabilities."
  • Epic Enabled - An overland tour company that is committed to opening up Africa to enable the disabled traveller through interactive participation tours.
  • Setting Them Free - An article about a collaborative participatory action research project, which means that instead of just being research subjects, they were active participants in the process. The project started in 1998, when MRC-funded researchers from the University of Cape Town, the SACLA Health Project (a non-governmental primary health care organisation) and the Western Cape Provincial Disabled Women’s Development Programme of Disabled People South Africa (DPSA) organised a series of workshops.
